Do you have a women's group, outreach committee, organization, or educational institution that is looking for educational enrichment and fun? A core part of the Ministry's mission is to 'build community between people from ALL walks of life.' This Spring we're offering Brunch on Us Saturday mornings for groups of 8-15. 	Summer Food Drive
The Ministry relies on congregations and organizations like the Chicago Post Office, the Greater Chicago Food Depository and the Resource Center to feed 3000 plus individuals every year. Every item donated improves the quality of the pantry and offsets the costs of purchased food. If your church or organization plans on participating in this year's Summer Food Drive, please let us know. Contact Shawna Tuttle @ 773.271.3760. Also, look for more news regarding a special Summer 'Ministry Love' Picnic to recognize these wonderful churches & organizations.

For 35 years the Ministry has been committed to serving the underserved in Uptown. We recently revisited our mission and agreed that we are dedicated to building community in Uptown between people from all walks of life to bring about self sufficiency, hope, and justice. In an effort to broaden that community, we have committed ourselves to other formats of communication including Uptown Minstry E-MUSE reaching supporting congregations, partner organizations, board members, and volunteers with news of upcoming events and potential collaborations.
