Chicago Uptown Ministry E-MUSE

February 2007
To Whom it May Concern,

By being one of 75 supporting congregations which participates in our Ministry Drive Days, your church is providing items that move our community members in the direction of self sufficiency (food, toiletries, bus passes and warm items) and give them hope (gifts, toy store, wish list, cookies, televisions) bringing us closer to our mission to build community in Uptown.

This year, we are committed to ensuring you have the information you need to make our Drive Days a success. We have opened up 14 volunteer positions to coordinate each of our drives. If you know of someone who is looking for a volunteer opportunity that they can work on from their own home, please have them contact Shawna Tuttle 773.271.3760. We estimate it is about a 15 hour committment spread over the month of the drive. Meanwhile, look in the mail in March for a bulletin insert about this year's Drive Days.

We also wanted an opportunity to thank you by celebrating a Drive Days Picnic on Saturday June 23rd.  Look for more details on this in upcoming editions of E-Muse. We hope you will join us in our Drive Days this year and at the Picnic! Please have your drive volunteer/s contact Shawna Tuttle at 773.271.3760 if your congregation will be participating in any of our drives to ensure that we properly acknowledge your efforts and to put you on the invitation list to the Drive Days Picnic.

Thank you in advance for you participation,
boy
Pastor Bob Lesher Jr.
